Mission: The Woodward Library Media Center is a multi-purposed center including digital and print materials along with work spaces designed to support and enhance student learning and teacher collaboration.
 
 Summer Reading 2018

Through a partnership between Get Georgia Reading – Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and myON, all educators, librarians, students and parents in Georgia have free access to thousands of enhanced digital books available in myON through August 31, 2018.
 
Digital books in the award-winning myON personalized literacy platform provide flexible reading scaffolds, embedded tools, and metrics to support and track student reading and growth. 
Getting Started is Quick and Easy! 
 
  1. Go to www.myON.com and click the myON Login button.
  2. Enter the following login information:
    1. School Name: Get Georgia Reading (Type the first few letters and select from the drop-down menu.)
    2. Username: dekalbcounty
    3. Password: read
  3. Click on the Sign In button, select a book and start reading!

When may I check out books or use the
Collaboration Stations or Makerspace?
Students may check out books from 7:45 am until 2:00 pm.
Teachers may check out books from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Classes may be scheduled starting at 8:00 am.
 
What do I need to visit the library media center?
Students must bring their teacher's library pass with them to the library. Each teacher may send a maximum of five students to the library media center at one time.
 
How do I check out books?
You will use Destiny to find books and check them out. Students should use their Woodward Library/Media Card and teachers use their Employee IDs.
First, scan your card/ID. Next, scan the book.
It is as easy as that!
 
           Can my whole class come to the library media center?
Yes! Teachers schedule class visits by booking on the Office 365
                              Media Center Scheduling Calendar.
                     
                         You may also reserve in person with Ms. Prince
                       to collaborate and plan for extended time using the
                          Makerspace and sudent collaboration stations!
   
 
 More than 10,000 print and digital resources are available on-site for immediate access.
