The counseling program is aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model, which is a framework for a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program.

Leader of the Month 
Each month, a student leader is selected from each classroom (from September to April). On the last Friday of each month, ALL student leaders for the month are celebrated.
 
 
 
 
Beta Club 
Beta Club meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:30-3:30pm. Beta Club is spearheading the Pennies for Patients Campaign which runs May 8th through May 19th. Money will be raised to help support patients who suffer from Leukemia and Lymphoma.
 
To be a member of this organization is truly a prestigious honor. The National Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advantages to students in grades 4-12.
 
These students were chosen based on academics, merit, and character. They are given the task of being leaders of not only Woodward Elementary School, but leaders of tomorrow. 
 
 
 
 
 5th Grade Visit to Sequoyah Middle School
5th Grade students and parents will visit Sequoyah Middle School on Monday, May 27th from 9:00am-11:00am. Transportation will be provided from Woodward Elementary School.
