PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME MESSAGE
As your proud principal, I am truly honored to have the impressive privilege of working with wonderful students, terrific stakeholders, and the best DeKalb County school staff that stops at nothing to “WIN.” I am looking forward to another momentous year of powerful learning and endless growth and opportunities.
One of my goals is to provide the leadership that will continue to support an instructionally focused staff and thriving school environment. We have measured up, equipped ourselves for progress, soared to greater heights with no limits to learning, and brought our “A” game with our “Game On” school theme, and elevated our standards as first-class passengers aboard Flight 3034. This year we will dig deeper and must focus and fully understand growth mindset vs. fixed mindset as we elevate even higher.
Superintendent Dr. Devon Q. Horton has charged us to “Disrupt for Excellence.” Know that you play a key role in motivating our children and colleagues to be the best every day. In our Wildcat Nation, we are molding the best, most confident, knowledgeable life-long learners there are.
We will continue to provide endless opportunities for our staff and students following our school mission, “to ensure academic and personal achievement for all students by creating a collaborative learning community.” With you as a passenger, our school will be an even better place for everyone to work, learn, and grow.
